QA Interview Prep

Here are some words and phrases that are often quoted in QA Job descriptions. I have tried to describe some of them.

- Ambiguity Review
- QA Methodology
- SDLC
- Waterfall Model
  • Linear
  • Sequential flow
  • Requirements must be validated and exit criteria must be met before proceeding to next phase
  • QA comes in very late in the cycle.

- Agile Development Model:
  • Incremental
  • Iterative: Design-Build-Test
  • Continuous feedback
  • QA comes into picture very early in the cycle
- Scrum
- Cross-Browser Testing
- Browser Compatibility Testing
- STLC
- QA Plan: contains following:
  • QA Responsibilities (Role of QA, participation in phases of lifecycle, build-release etc)
